|IOEC executes a wide range of offshore operations with its experienced team and experts, as well as full access to a modern marine fleet and equipment. The company utilizes the latest technologies in DP pipe layers and derrick-lay vessels and transportation vessels. |
It is capable of performing a wide range of offshore activities such as platform transportation and installation, pipe coating, pipe laying, cable laying, tie-ins, pre commissioning and commissioning of the pipelines and platforms. The fleet used for platform installation and commissioning includes heavy crane vessels, with lifting capacity of up to 5000 tons and various types of accommodation barges.
For submarine pipelines installation, IOEC is equipped with dredging vessels and DP3 pipe-lay vessels with the capability of laying various sizes of pipes from 4 to 60 inches with a laying rate of more than 200 joints per day.
Offshore operations are also supported by utilizing other combinations such as launch barges, cargo barges and tug boats as well as supply vessels.
It’s noteworthy to mention that fabrication and installation of CLAM buoys and subsea tie-ins, off bottom tow operations, crossing support installation and free span correction are part of the company’s regular offshore activities.
