In line with IOEC upstream development plan, the Drilling Department formed in 2015 with South Pars Gas Field Phase 14 drilling project to drill and complete wells in offshore and other onshore projects.
IOEC Drilling Department benefits from experienced experts specialized in well engineering, subsurface, drilling operation engineering which are supported by other disciplines such as HSEQ, planning and cost control, procurement and contracts, logistic to carry out every aspect of exploration and development.
This includes full field study including all reservoir modeling aspects; field feasibility study; field development plan; detail well design, notice of operation, drilling and completion program.
Our drilling integrated management system guarantees all interfaces within platform, topside, well construction and all drilling services such as jack-up drilling unit, directional drilling services, mud, cementing, casing running, wellhead services, wire line logging, perforation, well testing, completion and etc. The system follows project quality standards, service companies KPI’s and operation performance.
Drilling Department follows a full cycle of plan, control, execution and evaluation. The planning phase includes conceptual and detailed design using internationally recognized standards, applications and expertise.
Well delivery and execution follows with an integrated system of implementation, taking into account timely delivery through real-time monitoring and supervision at well sites. The performance is evaluated against pre-determined benchmarks; service companies KPIs and project milestone as part of performance measurement system.
All lessons learnt are captured and disseminated through our knowledge management system to implement in the next operation.
