The Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC) is one of the first offshore general contractors in Iran, established in 1993 to fabricate and install production facilities necessary for the oil and gas industry.
Today, IOEC is a world-class Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Company that provides total EPC solutions to both the Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas sector.
It provides project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and drilling to project owners and operators.
In 2004, the Office for Consultants and Contractors Affairs in the National Management and Planning Organization (MPO) recognized IOEC as a “Grade One Contractor in the Field of Petroleum, Gas and Petrochemical Industries, including marine installations.” Ever since, IOEC has successfully expanded its off-shore services and has been executing projects with an extensive fleet specializing in pipe-laying, heavy lift installation, hook-up, and commissioning.
The company owns a fleet of 18 offshore vessels equipped with modern facilities to support its operations. It can lift structures weighing up to 4,500 Tons; and is also equipped for laying subsea cables and pipelines, up to 60 inches diameter; in water depths from 10 to 250 Meters.
Today, through its rapid expansion and achievements, IOEC has evolved into an oil and gas EPCIC contractor operating at national and international levels. The company provides services inside and beyond the borders of Iran for offshore and onshore projects and excels at the entire range of Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication, Installation, and Commissioning functions to deliver turnkey platform and pipe-laying solutions. IOEC offers onshore and offshore drilling and Engineering, Procurement, and Drill-ing (EPD) services, and is pursuing possibilities within renewable energy markets.
In 2018, the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum (MOP) announced that IOEC has met the requirements for an E&P company and since 2019, IOEC is also active in Operation and Maintenance.
Managing maritime and offshore activities is our strength. IOEC continues to expand and develop its maritime operational capacities and marine spread in partnership with international companies.
Since 2014, implementing simultaneous offshore operations, including load-out, transport, installation, and commissioning of various turnkey projects, has become a de facto forte for the company.
